This last weigh-in of the year is also on the day after Christmas. Maybe you had Christmas dinner with the family and ate too much. There’s no condemnation for that. However, the scale might have bad news for you. Oh well, so it goes—no guilt, no condemnation—only grace.
We’ve discussed a lot of weight-loss topics this year. We’ve been on the scale every Saturday and recorded another year’s worth on the spreadsheet. We are not yet sure about what we will do with this website for the coming year. With two websites to write daily blogs for, it really is time-consuming.
I’ve been plotting my weight-loss journey this year by putting my scale on each weigh-in day at the top of each weigh-in blog. In some way I have hoped this is a picture of weight loss journey and the ups and downs of dieting. The purpose is to be an example and to show what I go through each week. Not all my weigh-ins are green. (That’s the color I put on the scale when I lose.)
Remember that dieting is not law but grace. So grace and peace be with you in the coming year.
